Triangles Rules
Triangles is a very simple game. The objective is to make as many triangles as possible, by drawing lines from one dot to another.
- Players take turns, in each turn a player must draw one line.
- A line may not cross other lines or touch other dots than the two that it's connected to.
- If a player closes a triangle with his line then he gets the point for that triangle and it gets colored with his color. In order to get a point for a triangle it must be three lines between three points, and there must be no dots inside the triangle. It's allowed to make triangles with dots inside them, but they don't give you any points.
- Once there are no more moves that can be made the game is over and the player who created the most triangles wins.
And that's it. The shortest rule section I've ever written :) If you're playing with a mouse you just click on one dot and drag the mouse over to the dot you want to connect to. On a touchscreen you just touch a dot with your finger and drag it over to the other dot.

This online version of Triangles was made by me, Einar Egilsson. Over there on the left is my current Facebook profile picture. This is a game I played when I was a kid in Iceland, with pen and paper. You just put a bunch of random dots on the paper and then start drawing lines. I had forgotten all about it until I saw on Snapchat that a friend was playing it with her kids. I played it a few times with my wife and kids and started thinking it could be a nice little game to make for the site.
This is the first game I've made for the site that has some dynamic graphics. I've been wanting to create some more puzzle games, not just card games and this is a nice start. Also it was a good opportunity to learn a bit about html5 canvas rendering, and freshen up on my geometry (which apparently I'm terrible at!)

The golf tee peg game is a wood board game that has been around for quite some time but you don’t have to use golf peg tees though most people do, as they are easily obtainable and available in different colors. The golf tee peg game is a portable game that offers a triangular wooden board that is drilled with just 15 holes into which are inserted golf tee pegs.
The aim of the game
The aim of the golf tee peg game is to remove all the tees except one in a series of moves. Therefore, at the start of the game all the holes will be filled with golf tees with the exception of one hole and the golf tee peg game is quite similar in play to checkers. To play the game, one golf tee has to jump over another tee into the empty hole and the golf tee peg that has been jumped over is then removed from the board. This continues until there are no more pegs remaining on the board but one and then the puzzle has been completed.
This may sound really easy in theory; however, in actuality it can be quite difficult to achieve and requires ingenuity to consider the moves ahead as well as the current move. Otherwise you will find yourself at one end of a board when some of the pieces are at the other end of the golf tee peg game board and you are unable to get back to them in which case it means that you would have to start again!

Absolutely! In fact some people have taken the time and trouble to work out a proper strategy that works and you can obtain the formulas online, but surely this defeats the object as the beauty of the golf tee peg game is that it helps with the following skills:
